I joined the Indian Railways as an IRPS(Probationer) on 06.03.1989.After completion of probation in 1991, I have been assigned many important responsibilities in the Indian Railways. I started my career as an Assistant Personnel Officer, at Rail Coach Factory(RCF), Kapurthala. Later on, I was promoted as SPO and Dy CPO in RCF itself. Thereafter, I was posted as Sr DPO of Ambala Division of Northern Railway. Then, on transfer, I was posted as Sr DPO of Bikaner Division.Thereafter, I was transferred as Dy CPO of Diesel Component Works, Patiala. Then again, for the second time, I was posted as Sr DPO of Ambala Division. Thereafter, I was trasferred as Dy CPO of Northern Railway at Baroda House, New Delhi.After the stint at Baroda House, I served as Director, Estt NG, in the Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, at New Delhi.On promotion to SAG rank, in June 2009, I was posted as CPO(A) of the NF Railway. But, w.e.f. 01.07.2009, I am doing the APPPA course, at IIPA in New Delhi.
